If you enjoy watching the film over and over again then you will probably enjoy the game. It sticks to it like flies to ... You'll spent twenty minutes getting your bearings then you'll know everything you need to do next.
I have great admiration for the people in Eidos who created an unparrelled game with Tomb Raider 2, a game that set the industry chasing them yet its high time for Eidos to do the chasing if they are going to release a great title in the future.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion went platinum so fast that it was re-released as a box set within two months. Many publishers launching PC games from March to June lost out financially as their fan base deserted them.
Bethesda Softworks redefined reality in terms of the visual gaming enviroment with The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion. Only weapons have edges in this game, no more blocky triangles to remind you that the games not real. This is the smoothest gaming experience ever.
Characters are fully customisable in terms of race, looks, occupations, birthsigns, age and skills making it nigh on impossible for your character to not be unique.
The feature I like most in The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion (each to their own) is Alchemy. In order to make potion and poisons you literally go out and hand-pick herbs, flowers and fungi for the 100+ available ingredients. You then fetch your herbalism tools from wherever you have them stashed, in your house if your wealthy enough, and then you proceed to mix them together for the desired result... poisoning your arrow tips perhaps.
Coming December 31st it will be an insult if this game is not awarded Game Of The Year.
